If you are deploying a points strategy, I will never try to dissuade you from that. Your points may go farther as airline miles but if you are using them for hotels, I can’t book those. If it’s part of full-scale trip planning, my planning fee can cover lost hotel commission.

No, not at all! I’ve booked one night staycations, work trips, and long weekends. I also negotiate hotel contracts for group bookings (family reunions, weddings, and meetings/events).
